Impressive Lot of Color Diamonds Planned for Sotheby’s Geneva Auction

Sotheby’s has unveiled an impressive lineup of spectacular jewels for its upcoming annual Magnificent Jewels & Noble Jewels sale this May in Geneva.  The auction features more than ten diamonds and gemstones estimated at $1 million or higher.

Highlights Include:

LOT 405 – Important Fancy Intense Blue Diamond Brooch (Property of a Lady of Title) designed by Alexandre Reza


LOT 411 – Fine Fancy Intense Blue Diamond RingfancyblueringLOT 411A – Important Fancy Pinkj Diamond Pendant (Property of an Important Private Collector). Set with a modified pear brilliant-cut fancy pink diamond weighing 18.51 carats, illustrated unmounted.


The final two lots of the auction will be saved  for two truly magnificent color diamonds:  The Superb Fancy Vivid Blue Diamond Ring and The Unique Pink.

LOT 494 – Superb Fancy Vivid Blue Diamond Ring:  The internally flawless diamond is expected to fetch $15 million to $25 million. The “exquisite” stone has been awarded the highest possible color grade by the Gemological Institute of America, Sotheby’s said.  superb blueLOT 495 – The Unique Pink:  This is the largest Fancy Vivid Pink Pear-Shaped Diamond ever offered at auction which has a pre-sale estimate of $38 million.
